Comments: Monavie is a fairly new company. Started in the company focuses on selling a specially formulated Acai Berry supplement juice.

Keeping in mind that you can not own your own business with out spending money on it Monavie starts you out for a mere $42. This will get you your business kit, which consists of a letter and DVDs to use at "Tasting" parties that you can hold to help sell the product. This sounds easy, but in order for you to make money you need to buy the product and be put on the auto-ship each month. Well that is the start anyway.

Even if you are on auto-ship you will not make money until you have two "legs" underneath you. These legs are really two other businesses  (or individuals) that you bring on board to also buy Monavie and they must be on auto-ship or place an order every 28 days. Your mentor, the person that brought you to Monavie or the person whose site you sign up on can place people under you to help you make money but you still will not make money until you personally put two people under you. You must personally create your two legs.

Advantages: Their Binary pay plan is easy to understand, teach, and duplicate. Their compensation plan is fair, rewards teamwork and “depth,” and leaves no one behind.

The levels of STAR and STARMAKER are extremely duplicate-able and easy to teach for everyone. The compensation plan includes 8 ways to make money. According to their site 50% of the product revenue is paid back out to the distributors in the field. Not only is this one of the highest totals we could find in the entire industry, but it is an ACTUAL 50%, not a THEORETICAL 50%, this is because there is no BREAKAGE in the pay plan (Breakage is where there is earned bonuses that don’t make it into the paychecks of the distributors, this can happen any number of ways, and most MLM pay plans have multiple layers of breakage that benefit the parent company). In part, this is made possible because any left over volume that doesn’t get figured into a distributor’s bonus in the current pay week, automatically gets applied to the next week.

Online Training & Support: Excellent online support with 4 websites: one for the business opportunity, one for their internet service, one for their utilities division, and one for their newly added global mall. More comprehensive support is available through their representative's only area where reps can access the latest corporate news, current events, important documents, as well as order products and marketing tools, and view genealogy reports. Recently added is an online sign-up system that can be used by anyone with internet access.

Field Training & Support: The marketing and integration of MonaVie as a company are world class as there is a plethora of brochures, magazines, and other such aids provided by the company that do a wonderful job of explaining their product and opportunity. The Mona Vie’s website is top notch and specifically designed to help distributors sell its product, including a “personalized” website interface to be used with customers.

Compensation Plan: Binary. How are you paid from Monavie? You can make a commission from buying the product yourself at wholesale and then sell it retail to other people. For this you set your own price and the difference between what you paid and what you charge is your pay. Then there is the compensation plan for being a distributor. There are a number of bonuses available as well; First Order Bonus, Bulk Order Bonus and Star Maker Bonus. The team compensation portion of the pay plan, employs a binary compensation system.

The binary compensation plan of Monavie requires you to balance the two legs that you have.  You would then receive commissions of 10% of the lesser leg. What this means is that if one of your legs has a weekly volume of 20,000 points and the other leg only has 200 points  in weekly volume, your pay is $50. So in essence your Monavie individual company sells over 20,000 points of volume in one week and you only make $50. Where does the rest of the 50% payout the company offers go? The rest goes to the top distributors with Monavie. This compensation plan can work for everyone, but you need to work on balancing your different business legs.
